Just over 1700 feet of the Concord-Lake Sunapee Rail Trail’s route runs through Sutton.
At the December 10, 2018 Sutton Selectboard meeting the Friends of the Concord-Lake Sunapee Rail Trail asked if we could make safety improvements to the 1929 federal highway bridge at the end of Morse Lane that crosses the Warner River and to make improvements to the class VI section of road leading from the bridge to Retreat Rd/East Roby District Rd. We received that permission. We have not yet built this project because we wanted to have it be part of a larger effort that provided useful connectivity.
